That was a funny show. What young boy did not have a crush on Susan Dey....
I think Dave used to like to have a cocktail or two now and then, the liver can have an issue with that.

Yeah, that makes sense. When your organs start failing and if you cant get enough oxygen it brings on dementia and all kinds of other mental issues. That's probably what happened.

Hearing about his family history he really wasn't the kind of person who probably would be a good fit for the kind of fame as substance abuse ran in the family. The dementia also ran in the family but really it sounds like the drinking and drug use took a toll on his liver and kidney.

He was in our local news a couple of years ago for a DUI and apparently not his first. Poor guy never was able to get the help he needed or have it stick.
And I'm guilty of that Susan Dey thing...
