Keep it under +600 for benching and +400 for a 24/7 oc.

I haven't delided my cpu yet since it's nice and cool as it is (I'm going to delid it cuz I'm greedy and want to get 5GHz out of it).

    My settings are :
    7940x
    1.182v 4.7Ghz
    VCCIO: 1.106v
    VCCSA: 0.8v
    VMESH: 1.106v
    Uncore offset +256
    Running 3800MHz CL16 24/7 at 1.41v
    Mesh is at 3GHz
    VCCIN 1.92v
    That's it basically

I usually run Cinebench, 3dmark, blender and real bench.

    hmm.

delid working same on  x299? how on mainstream ?
i mean  last 8700k working 5.0 on 1.37V no delid
after delid working on 5.0 1.31V
so 79xx series delid same voltage going down ?

If your sticks are rated at 1.35v you can safetly run 1.5v 24/7.

    " SAFE "
    Vcore 1.275v<
    Mesh 1.2v<
    Dram 1.5v<
VIN 2.1v< (you wont need that much and don't use more than 2.1v cuz it will kill your cpu if you are on ambient cooling.)
    Uncoreoffset 1.2v< (+250~)
    IO 1.2<

But then again you can venture a bit, It's all up to you.

But you would hardly need 1.2 IO and you don't use SA with the 79xx.
Using Dram speeds above 4000MHz is useless on this platform 3600MHz is plenty.

Stay below 80c and it will last a good while!

So Duke stated good amounts to have Uncore Voltage Offset set to, but I don't think I read anything on what it is exactly.

What exactly is Uncore Voltage Offset?

Uncore voltage is required for overclocking memory. My 10900X can do 4000 MHz at +250 mV but my 9900X needs +450 mV. The Auto setting uses +450 mV for 4000 MHz which may be too high.
I ran the 9900X at +450 mV for 1 year without noticeable degradation, but I feel absolutely fine with +250 mV.

I hear that alot of people use 300 offset, but thats for mild memory oc, but
when setting secondary timmings, i hear this needs to be much higher seeing
thay effect latency.  And what are folks using for mesh vcore? i use 1.270 for 3200,
cuz cinebench craps out in middle of test. and cpu is all core 4800 1020x btw
