Hi,
I've been running my x299 dark for about 2 weeks now and  just realized this week when i turned off the main power on the power supply or from the main switch all my previously set BIOS settings gets reset to default, that includes the system date and time settings

Any idea why it is doing this?
I've already updated the BIOS version to 1.07

My specs:
Intel 7820k
GTX1080 SLI
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16Gb 3000mhz
Corsair AX1200i

Thanks in advance

Thanks I completely forgot about that !
Appreciate if someone knows the battery model as i'm using all rigid tubing and will need to drain the entire loop (CPU + GPU) then find out the model of the battery, go out and buy it and then replacing it

Took some digging but found a definitive picture

    link to picture - https://xdevs.com/doc/_PC_HW/EVGA/E299/img/dark_pcies.jpg

link to full article I got it from - https://xdevs.com/guide/e299ocg/#intro

From what I see you will be removing the full cover for the chipset / u.2 cooler and it is just too the right of PE5 pcie slot
    Battery is a CR2032

And sadly that looks like you will be pulling the motherboard from your system to access the screws on the backside for that particular cover

How long have you had the system up and running?

    Hey Jon!
Thank you so much for your effort, I took the chance to go out and buy a new CR2032 since this is the most common type of battery used in most motherboards and I just finished replacing the battery, was a quite a busy job, with lots of tiny screws to remove before gaining access to the battery. After the replacement, I slapped on an old air cooler and an old video card, updated the system time and powered down the system for about 10mins with the power cord completely removed.

I just booted it up and thankfully the date and time seemed to be showing up correctly! I’ve turned off the system and will let it sit for a couple of hours and test it again

My system has been up for about 2 weeks now and has been performing really well. I only discovered this issue when I decided to replace my aging D5 pumps, I turned off the system for a couple of days for the work and when I booted the system, the date and time were gone
