Welcome to the forums! It would not void the warranty however if you had to RMA it you would have to put the original cooler back on the card as it would need to be in the original configuration. There is a sticker over one of the screws and the sticker can be removed and is there to have the RMA Department check under the heatsink if it is missing when received.

Many people add water when a card is at the end of it's life, to prolong. I'd be curious as to how good your gains are.

This makes no since, most people install a Water Block when it is new. Why waste a Water Block and the Cost for an EOL Graphics Card?

Agreed... makes no sense whatsoever. You would do it when it's new if you were looking to 'extend its life' as much as you could.

I don't know the rules here on posting external links. But there are many people that add water towards the end of a build's life, when they don't mind the risk, or at least perceived risk of adding water. Extending it's life was poorly worded, extending it's usefulness is more apt. But to each his own, I never saw the point of it, but there are ample example of doing so.

The performance of Nvidia GPUs can best be achieved when you keep the card cold as possible, especially since Nvidia Boost 3.0 Yes, there are risks that are best mitigated with best practices when water cooling.
The most important one is leak testing your system after assembly before you add any power to your rig.
Using quality parts to build the loop & taking you time to do it correctly are also important While others water cool to get good performance at a much lower sound threshold, than high speed fans on a heatsink cooler

If you think about it you would know that when a Graphics Card is at EOL Finding a Water Block for it would be next to imposable. As it is for New Graphics Cards it can be just as hard finding a Water Block, as what the FTW3 RTX Owners are now facing. Not saying what you are saying not true only unlikely. You need 11 or Posts to Posts Links.

first thing i did with my 1080fe was aio it after I knew it was all good. I plan to do the same thing with my 11G-P4-2382-KR this Tuesday when it arrives but I'm a little hesitant to do it this round because of the problems people have been experiencing. I might wait a week and run the stock fans 100% when gaming lol Maybe I'll wait until after thanksgiving.
