DG-87 connections to front USB ports: 2x Type A and 1x Type C

Starting a new build with a DG-87 that's sat in the box for far too long.
 
There's 2x USB Type A port (labeled USB 3.0) on the bottom front and a USB Type C port.
There's one USB 3 internal header cable to connect to the motherboard (2 ports on the motherboard header).  How is this wired to the 3 front ports listed above?
 
I suspect that the USB-C is also wired to one of the Type A connectors, such that only 1 device can be plugged into either one.
