Hey there, this is my first PC build and I'm a little disappointed. I got everything working but when I plug in the 4pin molex in the back that powers the fans and side panel, my system wont run. When i unplug it everything works fine and I can get all the way into windows no issue. I'm thinking there's a short with the cable because I've tried all 3 female molex connectors on my power supply (EVGA 600W) to no avail. I called support but the guy wasn't thrilled to help me but at least he's supposed to be sending a new molex. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and if it should just me simple swap. Thank you for your help

Note: I did have everything working at one point and all parts are brand new.

There could also be a problem with the fan, if you had another power supply and or fan I'd say try that, for testing. Or just get a new fan that uses PWM or DC that plugs into your motherboard for the side panel if you really need/want that fan
