DG-85 fan controller Faulty

I recently got a dg-85 and the molex cable pins for the fan controller came out got a rma new wire plugged in today started it up. Started smoking right away. i would assume i need a whole new board that goes down there on the case, any thoughts?

    Sounds like you have a Short somewhere.
    Are you Pinching any wires anywhere?
    What board are you referring to?

    there are no wires pinched and its the board that is in the case itself on the bottom next to the power button
