DG-77 case.
I install DG tuner, it works fine (without the keyboard)
I plug in my Keyboard and whenever I restart the computer.
I then get a "trying to install firmware" THEN "HID device not found" error.
I also tried DG V2.0.0  I get the same errors with the keyboard plugged in or not.
I don't want to unplug/plug my keyboard in every time I restart my computer.
This is purely a software issue or at-least can be handled as such.
Maybe someone smarter than me can figure something out.

    EVGA z390 FTW
Hooked up through either of the mainboards USB 2.0 headers. (I've tried both)
    Bios is up to date.
There are no manual firmware updates.
I have also plugged my keyboard into all 8 USB ports.

Hello, I actually am having the same problem and thought I'd share my experience with it too as it might help get a solution for both of us!

I recently (as of about 3 days ago) rearranged some cords and cleaned up all my fans ect in my DG-77 Case and after I put everything back together and when the DG tuner went to auto launch it came up with the USB Hid Error, so I checked the usb connect, tried connecting it to both in and out just in case, and tried hooking it to both of my usb 2.0 connectors. I also tried looking for a bios update, and windows update with no result.

I feel maybe stupid to ask if you have plug from DG-77 Sata Power plug to Power Supply? Software will not working without any power supply for Case!! See pic below >

I admit that was a good suggestion, however after I had opened the back of my case I realized I was being stupid even checking. My LED lights are on so they have power, it's just the software.

For further details that may help as well, The K-Boost button does nothing (Which I assume is obvious since the software isn't working) however pressing it just makes it light up.

Don't know if it will help you, but I've had this issue off and on since I bought the case back in 2016. Recently I found that even when it decides to give me that error, if I restart windows in safe mode it will magically work. Of course the moment that I start windows normally DG Tuner goes back to being the janky garbage it has always been. I use this to turn up the fans before playing games that will cause my GPU, etc. to heat up and when I'm done I lower the fans again. It would be nice not to have to restart my computer 4 times though.

    ~~edit~~
I've found that apparently there is some sort of conflict with my tobii eye tracker. If i unplug my eye tracker, the DG8 tuner app will open just fine, then I plug my eye tracker back in to my keyboard passthrough and all is well.
