I got tired of having this big mess of a set up that I had, Everything was hanging on the walls, shelves, etc. So I decided to put my skills to the test and make a floating desk, But unfortunately, I have so many things and the weight would be immense, So I didn't want to risk it. I ended up building a base for my subwoofer, So that it served as 2 purposes... the subwoofer was above and I could clean easily and the desk had support where it needed it most.
 
Here's how it was BEFORE :
 


 
Here's the base I pre-built outside and bolted straight into the studs. I wish I had a welding machine and could've put more support rather than just wood, But alas, I don't. I used 3" wood screws on both ends, As well as 90* brackets on every end and used 1/2"x4" (Or 5" Can't remember) Lag bolts with washers straight into the studs (7 Total).

And here's the underside, a big mess of wires that I routed to give a cleaner look.

Rush, you did a great job! I am curious about the last picture... I the other shots everything is square, but in last one I am seeing rounded edges....I think?  What's up with that?
