I don't think this GPU range is a surprise after the recent changes, but the 3050 was added to the Step-Up FAQs. EVGA GeForce RTX 3050⟶EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / 3070 / 3060 Ti / 3060

Yesterday, when I tried to Step Up from a 3050. I emailed Support and got that response. No ETA.

Must have been in the last 48 hours as I looked at it the other day to possibly answer someone's question. Just looked and they are gone from the step-up inventory.

Possibly. Kicking myself for not making a quick decision as I was debating between the 3060ti and 3070. Now both are gone.

It’s still showing them as option on the list put up on the step up page. Would be great if they updated that to reflect shortages when they happen.

Yes, they are always going to be an option, if available. The only list on the page updated in real-time is the Step-Up Inventory list, which is where you can see which models are released to the Step-Up queue. Just because a model may not be available on the US Step-Up, doesn't mean it won't be available on the EU Step-Up, and vice-versa.

The support page still lists 3080 10gb as a step up option for 3070/3070Ti as well, but I’ll be shocked if that card is ever offered again. I guess it's a matter of..."it's possible."

Less people are typically stepping up than those that are trying to just straight purchase, so step up will seem quicker.

I just registered my 3050 that I bought direct from Evga and it says not eligible for step-up. Anyone else having this issue?

I just registered my 3050 that I bought direct from Evga and it says not eligible for step-up. Anyone else having this issue?
Contact EVGA support if you haven’t already. I think what happened was people bought these 3050 and immediately apply for Step Up, and send in their unopened boxes. EVGA just cycled through them and some of them probably didn’t get the serial number reset so the system sees that they have been through Step Up and no longer eligible again.
