Hi, I want help, the graphics card causes me problems.
Fortnite game in low quality 1080, the temperature rises and rises until the application closes, I use the last driver.
I know that the problem is the tarejta because using another old gtx1050 2gb I have no problem, it is strange because RTX 2060 is much superior and should move more comfortably.
I use ddr4 XMP 4266
If you know the solution, or some advanced setting helps me.
The card is free of dust or dirt and in a cool environment.
(I am using a translator since I speak Spanish)

Well with a single card fan and being the rtx series its going to run hotter then normal anyways, i would suggest running with the side panel off if its on and see what the temps do then, if the side panel is off i would probably remove the heatsink/fan and see if its a bad thermal paste application. Do you have the card overclocked and if so run it at stock settings and see what happens. Also try your own custom fan curve in px1 or just set the fans to manual and set them to about 80% and see where you go from there.

The temperature rises and rises ... to what point? Please give us a number. Rises to 90c? Rises to 60c? Very different numbers with very different potential impact and potential solutions.

    sparetimepc Thanks for your reply
I tell you how this is going.
The new team, there is no overcloking.
Only the xmp memory has two profiles, one at 4000mhz and one at 4266, in the 4000 profile I have fewer problems and the crashes are more exporadical.
    I don't understand what it is ..............
How can I customize and increase the fan speed?
I am using gpuz cpuz and aida64 to see temperatures and speed.
I miss this video card that I was using for a few months on another lower pc and does not heat as it does in this new one.
I have the cabinet open and the air is fresh. check the dust and it is clean, the option to check the thermal paste will leave it for the latter case.
    XMP TIMING PARAMETERS
    • JEDEC: DDR4-2400 CL17-17-17 @ 1.2V
    • XMP Profile # 1: DDR4-4266 CL19-26-26 @ 1.4V
    • XMP Profile # 2: DDR4-4000 CL19-21-21 @ 1.35V
Serious problems are in profile 1, in profile 2 there are crashes but they are much less frequent. but it shouldn't exist
I use translation and I make an effort to express myself correctly, I'm sorry

Below is the actual software link from EVGA for your card, this will allow you to set your own fan curve or set the fan manually to run at a desired speed. Your memory is having nothing to do with your card getting hot, as long as you keep your whole system stable you will be ok.

Hello, thanks to your advice I realized that the video card can be at 45 degrees or 70 and the fault does not matter, but I don't think it's your fault, because I discovered in the bios an option that says (configuration of improvement of memory) which was in automatic, the options are automatic, relax oc, improved stability, normal, improved performance, high frequency and ddr4500.
Removing it from the car and placing it in the same normal, the fault occurs and has been going down and just in the minimum (relax oc) works correctly with minimal instabilities, it has been lowered from 4266 to 4000 and there just recently. I could configure the card to the maximum and it has no problems. Now I don't know what to think if the memories or the mainboard are bad, but the promised xxmp intel certificate 4266 is not achieved. What do you think?
RTX 2060 is not guilty, it proved to work very well!

It is a very common problem for memory not to achieve its XMP profile especially high frequency ram, if the IMC (Internal Memory Controller) of the processor is not great then it will prevent your ram from achieving the XMP profile, that does not mean that you can't set the memory to manual and achieve the rated speed of the ram though by tweaking settings.  For example i have some 4266 memory that with a 7820X will boot to the XMP profile without any issues every time, however if i use a 10940X cpu i can't boot at all with the XMP profile, but if i change the voltage of the ram and lower the frequency from 4266 to 4200 it will then boot every time.

Hello, and tried manually and improved stability only a little, but it is not total. Good stability is achieved by placing the memory to DDR4-2400 CL17-17-17 @ 1.2V (JEDEC :)
I found in my providers the memory HX436C17PB3A / 8 7 HX436C17PB3 / 16 both appears in the QVL list of the mainboard.
If I put this memory at 3600 you think my computer will work well. can i believe intel xmp?
I am sorry to have a high-value mainboard, to use it at frequencies below 4000 .. since she says she supports (Support for DDR4 4400 (O.C.)) I would also like to work on dual channel
On the other hand I do not think that the cpu9700f insists directly on my problem, since it is equal to a 9700k but without video, even the F is a new year.
The other way to solve it could be to get a motherboard that does support the memory that I have already bought HX442C19PB3K2 / 16. But I don't know what it could be.
I appreciate any data to take the best path.
In this team I only want to have a good performance in games and streamer since it is for youtuber use
    Thank you

Have you tried boosting your vsa & vccio voltages to 1.35v to see if that helps stabilize the faster ram speed? If no, give that a shot.

Hi Sajin thanks for answering, and thank you all
I will try to raise those voltages slightly to see if I achieve stability. the memory parameters are
    XMP TIMING PARAMETERS
    • JEDEC: DDR4-2400 CL17-17-17 @ 1.2V
    • XMP Profile # 1: DDR4-4266 CL19-26-26 @ 1.4V
    • XMP Profile # 2: DDR4-4000 CL19-21-21 @ 1.35V
A question which program is effective to check stability as you want to increase volts?
