Anyone else been having stability issues while playing AC Valhalla on their 3080/3090 at stock settings (normal factory OC)? I noticed that while in game, my card boosts up to 2010-2040mhz (depending on temperatures) and I'll be playing for an hour or a random amount of time and suddenly the game will freeze and crash to desktop.
I checked Event Viewer and every time this happens, I can see a warning event get triggered that says "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Other than that, my card has been rock solid in other games. I clocked 60h in Cyberpunk with barely any crashes outside normal parameters (game was a mess) and like 80h on Horizon Zero Dawn, the latter with no crashes whatsoever. I also passed 3 runs of Time Spy stress test and 1h of Furmark, Port Royal, but it seems AC Valhalla is giving me the most trouble.

I tried underclocking my card -50mhz and haven't had any crashes in 1h30 of playing.

Edit: Just had a crash at -50mhz. I highly doubt it's a stability issue now.

Make sure you are using the latest drivers as that should have fixed it. If you are using them and it still crashes make sure your power level is at 100%. Last thing I suggest which ended up fixing it for me before the driver update was undervolting.

I'm on the latest drivers (461.40). Power cap is at 118% (I'm on the 450W BIOS).
What's your undervolt at the moment?

I'm currently at 918 mV hitting 2010Mhz on a 3090 Hybrid. Stock bios. Power is set to 100. Anything over 100 would cause the game to crash for me and a few others on the ubisoft forums

Interesting. I'm gonna try with the power target at 100% and see if I still get crashes.

No, it didn't. Seems to be a problem with Valhalla, to be honest.

I had my first crash 2 days ago since I set my undervolt several weeks ago. I have been playing with an undervolt set to 2025Mhz @931mV and power set to 100%. I don't have any OC set to memory. I was able to play for several hours at a time before then with no crashes. Since that crash I have not had anymore. This is with a 3090 FTW3 Hybrid
