'Sup. For starters, everytime I start my computer it puts me to an A2 error. I checked on OpenMonitor that the VBat is 3.2V so I don't know what the issue is. Also recently, my motherboard hangs at 98 for 5 beeps before my keyboard and mouse starts. This has just started happening today and it is really annoying. So please help.

What motherboard do you have? Are you running the latest bios version?

Older bios versions produce the same results? Do you get the same issues after clearing the cmos?

A2 generally indicates that the motherboard has passed POST and has started successfully. If you haven't done so yet, I would recommend removing any installed video card and connect to the onboard video to see if you are able to see the splash screen or BIOS. If you see any errors or video at all on the screen, it means that everything is working correctly, and we can then provide additional troubleshooting for you.

If the iGPU doesn't work, we will need you to provide a list of hardware in the computer so we can provide better support.

Yes the issue happens even in 1.06. For now, I'd like to focus on the 98 issue.

Try plugging your keyboard & mouse into the usb 3.0 ports if they are currently in the usb 2.0 ports. See if that makes any difference.

I found the issue. See the Asus monitor (for the USB ports) was connected to a USB hub and that appearantly caused issues with the keyboard and mouse. As soon as I unplugged it from the hub the keyboard and mouse work normally again. About the A2, apparently that's normal? I'm not really in the mood to dismantle my computer right now but thanks anyways.

EDIT: Would it be safe to connect it directly to the motherboard though?

Good to hear! A2 is normal, and means that the computer POSTed successfully.
