Hi guys,

Im not sure if my rig is done.. I think I'll do some more sleeving (MDPC) and maybe buy a eVGA GTS450SC/FTW for PhysX?

What do you think of my rig so far?

Any upgrade advice or changes will be appreciated..:D

Edit: More Rig info in Mods Rigs..:D

Do you think I should buy a GTS450SC/FTW for PhysX or even a GTX470SC?

With a three way GTX 470 combo you don't need a PhysX video card. I do think you need a BR though!

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Will I not face any advantage with a fourth card as PhysX.. e.g. a GTX470SC?

    Thanks for the BR...:D

With 3 470's you don't need a physx card. It is way overrated. Maybe further down the road when more games begin to utilize it but as of right now or the immediate future, don't waste your money on one

    Core i7 920 4.3 Ghz D0 3910A369, EVGA 758 x58, 6GB OCZ DDR3 1600 Gold, 2 GTX 470 SLI, Antec  TPQ 1000 Watt, Custom Cosmos Case

Wow beautiful setup.  Sooo much cleaner than what my case can do.
As far as your question, my recommendation is No.  What I would do is set it to be 2x SLI and use the 3rd GTX 470 as a physX.
That my opinion.  Since 1 GTX 470 can play any game (that I know of) on max setting, 2 is borderline overkill.
The 3rd can be physX and you should have a stable 60-80+ FPS in just about every game with beautiful physX

Side tracking a bit.  BR was well deserved.
You have my dream setup!  Everything you have except for the MB is everything I wanted but had to settle for a bit less.

Question:  Is that a 4x SLI?  You look like you have plenty of space for a 4th card

Well my motherboard doesn't support 4x SLI.. Unfortunately.. Either does the GTX470.  Atm I'm running them as 3-way SLI.. But I think of adding a fourth card to handle PhysX.. In Nv controlpanel I've set the third GPU to handle PhysX but it is not dedicated to PhysX. I think that is better than 2x SLI + third card dedicated to PhysX.

Very nice! im building the same system pretty much, ( im using an i7-950), same case, that really helps me out as a cooling option...
Are you using 3d surround? if you are how is the performance on the 470X3?

    Thanks..
I wish you great luck with your new build..

I haven't tried 3d surround yet but I would very much like to.. I just need to get it work correctly.. last week one of my monitors died... (red lines, vertically..?) so Im going to buy another.. Probably after christmas in January-sales.. On a single screen performance is outstanding compared to my old GTX295 + Q9650@4275mhz..:D
