The air flow of the fans is not really better, no.  They're alright but not the best in that regard.  I don't use RGB so I can't comment on that.

Ok if they are equal in the airflow from the others that is ok, do you know if they are quieter than the others as thats something I am really looking for. I could honestly care less about the light affects i just want a nice blue or gold.

If you only care about performance and audibles for rads and case fans, Noctua A12 PWM and Gentletyphoons.  Noctua doesn't have the best color scheme but those are one the best fans all around.

No, Corsair fans are pretty loud.  If you want quiet like GTX said above those are good options as well as BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 fans.

OK, so. I bought 4 Corsair I believe SP120's not knowing first I needed a hub for the RGB or that there was a 12v to 5v difference. I had a case that had a 5v control board and assumed before researching that they would work (I thought all LED/RGB lights were 12v....duh) Anyway, I regret getting the corsair fans at all. Nothing but issues with the 4 I have. I assumed since they didnt' work in the case I had, I sold that and dropped a ton on a 680 x RGB that comes preinstalled with 3 LL120's. I thought cool, it has the hub I need, I should have 0 issues now (other than I had 4 fans and it came with 3...so one gets no lights) STILL did NOT work. I ordered a 10 dollar 6 port hub that will connect to my commander pro and if they still don't light up after that I will return them. That all said the LL120's and the commander module that came with the case don't even work all the time. I moved my GPU to the lower x16 slot, the hub/command module stopped working. Switched USB headers and it worked. Changed things back, stopped working again. Switched back to old header, still nothing. I had to reset my bios to get them to come back on. Can't be a USB header issue on my motherboard? Right? Either way. I will RMA the 4 I got and hopefully it will all work. Otherwise the last complaint is the Corsair iCue software. I have it set up to run when windows loads...It don't. EVER, and occasionally it still wont detect that the command module is plugged in. When they work they look cool though!

As far as quality, I like them. as far as noise? I have 8 total corsair fans and 2 coolermaster ones. Two of the cosair fans are non LED. Case is pretty quiet even when gaming with the fans on smart control.

I have zero issues with mine.  I control 4 LL fans x3 120, x1 140, a CPU block and their RAM.  The only issues I have with them is if you flip the fans, the aRGB ring isn't as visible.  There are some competitors out there that did a better job with newer fans but to be fair, LLs have been around for some time now.

Corsair fans are OK, just hate icue.

You don't have to use iCUE. However if you want Corsair RGB synchronization then you'll need iCUE. Also with iCUE you can make specific color profiles if you're unhappy or bored with the default.

I have some LL120 RGB Corsair case fans in my rig now (came with the case - Crystal Series 680X RGB case). I was looking at getting matching RGB radiator fans, but Corsair's offerings aren't great for radiators (not very good air pressure). I'd say ok with Corsair as case fans, particularly if you want good RGB effects, but for radiator fans I'd give them a miss and go with something like the 'be quiet!' SilentWings3 high-speed PWM fans (model BL070 for 120mm, BL071 for 140mm) - no RGB, but extremely good performance and very quiet. Their case fans (BL066 and BL067) I also highly recommend if RGB bling is not required.

Specs for bequiet! SilentWings 3 fans:

Personal feedback, the iCue software is pure trash.  I have the iCUE 220T RGB Airflow case, I love the case "mostly all metal" and the layout, but the lighting software is pure trash, Ill be replacing those RGB bright as hell fans with proper Noctua fans for my front intakes. Noctua has been my go to for ten years now...

You can dim the fan LEDs with iCUE software - default is full brightness otherwise (I have the Crystal 680X RGB case). The software is not particularly intuitive, but it works with a bit of fiddling. Noctua make good fans, and thank the stars they have finally started making fans that aren't that ugly light and dark brown color scheme! I have tried Noctua, but I would still recommend the 'be quiet!' SilentWings3 fans over Noctua as far as performance goes.

I have no issues with the software and the fans as rad fans are ok but there's better fans out there.

I only use 3 of them for looks (LL120s) on my top rad while my $10 Helix 120mm fans are on the rest of the rads.

I wish Corsair had the Noctua fan with their RGB on it.  I'd replace all the fans. lol

I recently picked up a H100i XT PRO.  the fans seem very quiet. icue isn't that great a piece of software though.   I wrote my color scheme to the controller and turned iCUE.   I have no issues with their fans.
