It’s worse in Florida. The most ignorant state in the Country. Neighbor had a freaking POOL PARTY at his house yesterday. People headed to beach... in Broward County... with the country’s largest elderly population.
No one knows the real number here because people are not getting tested like in most other states. Florida is going to be a catastrophe in 6 months.
The mentality here is crazy.
I used to mine. Now I compute.

Many viruses don't usually survive in warmer climates and high humidity. I wouldn't worry too much about Florida unless the weather changes and folks go there with it.

I'm kind of in the middle. I am not going crazy and hiding and/or hoarding or anything like that, but I'm still taking precautions when I can. Trying to be balanced. I guess my biggest anxiety is what all this panic others are causing will do to the economy and mine and my wife's jobs.

Hawaii went from no cases to two then four and then seven now 14. Hawaii is having weather in the mid 80’s and seeing it spread which is scary. Miami is also in the mid 80’s and seeing it spread. Maybe in the summer we might see it slow in some of the hottest areas but Hawaii and Florida are already as warm as a lot of states summer weather.

It also everything is being shut down to help slow the spread but that can only happen so long before the economy breaks completely. People thinking they are safe and going out in public are going to spread the virus and make the shutdowns ineffective.

I did read that they are going back and looking at younger people who got the virus and recovered, 3 weeks later. They are finding scar tissue in their lungs and can cause up to 30% decrease in lung function. That's not good at all. So it may not be over when you think it is over. Also around 15% of 20 to 45 years olds need to be hospitalized. Less than older folks, but shows they are not immune to this. Life goes on, heart attacks, strokes, car accidents, falls, assaults .... keep happening and need medical attention, surgery, hospitalization. Hospitals do not have the extra capacity to handle the influx. Not enough beds and hardware This is why they want to flatten the curve. This too shall come to pass. The USA and the world will recover. It will take time. Now is a good time if you can afford to, support your local businesses, order some take out and leave a good tip. Please stay safe, think of others, remain calm, try to keep a distance from others and do your part to stop/slow the spread.

Are you interlocking elbows? Last time I checked, you sneeze on the inside and bump with the outside. Unless the bacteria is running around your body, which by then washing your hands and sneezing into your elbow wouldn't matter, now would it? Everyone would be infected because we'd have the covid-19 running into our households and ahh... I took to much into your post, now I feel just as dumb, mr fordman.

In my country is Martial Law. No moving on streets after 20h. People over 65 years can't get out from home. I have food for 2 months at house, no shortage of supplies. No FFP3 Respirators, no antibacterial detergents... Next time think more when you laugh to preppers. Or even better by Avon C50 Gas Mask CBRN with 10 normal rounded 40mm filters instead new hardware constantly. This is only simulation, rich establishment just want to check where they made mistake to improve some parts of their plan. Next strain kill 20% of population. Goverments are lost completely, we are on our own. One day 37 infected Prime minister say No single reason to close kindergartens and schools, after 35h...55 infected, Matrial Law, 3 years jail if you are on street between 20-5h. Lucidity from such idiots who change minds for so short time without prepared plan can't be expected. 2 days later over 100 infected. You will see when Covid-19 reach Africa, I mean when start to spread more, now is just few hundreds cases. When infection enter in area where 1/3 of people are HIV positive and similar health problems... they will die like rats.

No exactly rule who is completely safe except kids below 15 years. Yes people who are active and healthy have far better chance but some healthy people are in very bad condition. Example football player in 38 years who run 10km daily is on connected on mechanical lung. Huge number of people survive because they are 3 weeks connected on mechanical ventilaton... In my country arround 110 people are infected and half of them is in hospital, only that fact tell you how situation is serious... In worse condition is guy who is almost 20 days in bad condition in hospital on oxygen and mechanical respirator. When I have higher temperature 5 days I can't stand any more I become angry and nervous, imagine 3 weeks. They should not explain nothing more... They are in hospital? OK everything is clear. They would not left people in hospital without good reason, and no infected over 55 years. Imagine if in one moment you need to put 10.000 people on mechanical ventilaton, UK have 5.000 mechanical respirators on 70 million people, we have 1100 on 7 million and few hundreds are on the way, 100 times weaker budget then UK. In Africa people are sentence to death... What Africa, in Italy over 60 years left people without mechanical ventilaton, only for younger people. Doctors every day decide who will die and who will live. This is expected, only is matter of time when serious deadly virus will attack. Famous phylosophs say that as spieces we reach end of our evolution and nature will not allow to us to pass barier when humans will become so much advanced then now and capable to change nature, planet, travel on other planets, beat life and death, etc... We will not pass that step in evolution.

I'm guessing that Microsoft is about 24 hours behind the numbers reporting. The link in my 1st post runs fine on a browser like Microsoft Edge for example.

There are multiple trackers already. This one from a local newspaper website is very similar but the update times are out of sink.

Edit, The bing one just seems to give a tally state by state and not by locality
Do yourselves a favor and zoom in, zooming out is exaggerated and seems to try and instill fear, perhaps by accident. (The circles do stay the same size but appear to grow). Also, pay more attention to the recovered numbers. Stay safe everyone and don't panic it will pass
