Holy crap.. news conference on tv right now, they are extending another 30 days trying to stop the spread for entire US, and Dr Fauci and Dr Berkz just said (and showed graphics) that based on their modeling, the US is looking at 100,000 to 200,000 dead over the next few weeks, and that's IF people help stop the spread of infection by staying home / social distancing etc.. Without that mitigation, the numbers would be 1.5 to 2.2 million dead. That sounds like a pretty damn good argument to stay home to me.

6,666,666 infected * 0.015 = the projected 100,000 dead by Trump
and
15,999,999 infected * 0.015 = the projected 240,000 dead by Trump
With the US population being at 331,002,651:
6,666,666 / 331,002,651 = 2.01%
15,999,999 / 331,002,651 = 4.83%
That means that 2.01 to 4.83% of the US population is estimated to be infected by the coronavirus.
