Can someone from EVGA say if the rumors of container(s) full of cards that are supposedly due in any day are legit or bull? A lot of people are getting their hopes up that this drought is about to be over with no proof or confirmation at all that these rumors are even true.

No legit company would ever respond to a rumor like that.

EVGA will tell you what they have been saying, they recieve shipments of cards every few days and send them where they have been allocated to.

Has anyone besides moore's law is dead said anything about these containers of cards on the way? I think we will have to wait for the 29th to see what happens with the 3070 launch, but I would not hold my breath.

What would be so hard about simply saying "no, it isn't true", or "yes, its true"? Lol

The expectation of people holding them exactly to their word. Imagine a container of cards show up that are DOA after a company tells every, yes, it’s true” and then they have a 1 week set back.. now the pitchforks come out because “they lied to us”

No company is going to throw themselves under a deadline like that in a world run by Reddit rage.

Best way of thinking : thinking it's wrong but be prepared. That way if indeed it's true, you'll be ready, and if untrue you won't be disappointed.

I'll just say that one of the guy on youtube relating this is just speaking nonsense and have no credibility, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Peoole will try to take advantage of fears and hopes. For some guys, hundreds of thousands of views can be a powerful motivation to just say what peoole wanna hear, without having real hard evidence or good contacts within the industry to confirm.

Though from a selling point, trying to flood your competition release would be stupid, many people disappointed by Nvidia are thinking if not already decided to switch to AMD instead of trying to get one. Would have made much more sense to flood day one the market just so everyone that bought a 3000 won't buy an AMD one.

The ship could sink, or they could drop the container in the ocean or a number of other things could happen.

Hit rough seas and dump a lot of containers...

Could be held up in Customs for a month...

Then you are looking at starting back at square one again.
