Hello!

Recently I salvaged two San Ace 120 fancoolers from an old bitcoin miner.

It says that its DC is 12V or 3.0A, and I was wondering, can I connect it to my mobo?

Here's a picture of it attached.

Please help! I'm scared my mobo might blow up! Haha

The Max most MB have on the Fan Headers is 1 Amp.
You may also want to clean it up a little before you start to use it in your computer.
What Motherboard X58 Model do you have?

Well if you can set your MB Fan Header at 33% in the Bios then Maybe.

You can definitely damage the motherboard by using a fan that draws too much current from the fan header, so I would have to recommend not connecting that fan directly to the motherboard. A better option would be a Molex to fan header adapter, as Molex connections are capable of running much higher power.
