Confused about RMAing a PSU

Sorry for asking, but I'm sort of confused about the PSU RMA. When I send back the PSU do I really just send back the PSU only and keep the modular cables like how it states in the instructions? Second am I allowed ship the PSU in its original box it came with inside with foam/bubble wrap and put in a bigger box like how it states? Sorry asking once again, but any help would be thankful.
