My wife is an interior designer so uses both Sketchup and Revit heavily. She reaches a wall when it comes time to render her 3D designs when they become even a little complex. Not only does it sometimes take more than an hour for rendering to complete, she will often have white screens appear and occasionally the program will close. I'm trying to figure out what hardware configuration might be better. Currently she has an NVIDIA Quadro P4000, 32 mb corsair vengeance LPX RAM, Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1151 65W. Motherboard ASRock Z270 KILLER SLI/AC LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX and power supply COUGAR CMX Series CMX1200V3 1200W ATX SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC
Any suggestions to improve her performance?

I've been very busy. Sold my business, got divorced, got remarried (learned from old mistakes). Now I'm medical director for a large urgent care chain in Nashville working 60 hours a week. Not bad for an old guy! How have you been?

Been great.  still plugging along in my job.  I showed up around here later part of last year to give it a shot again.    Life's good though.  Did a little hiking in Machu Picchu recently.  Not working as much as you though.   Hope to see you around.
