Computer started crashing with settings when I started using PowerLink.

So, I used the Precision X1 and ran the Test to get my score where I used that as the basis for my starting point for the clock. I moved the values under the target section all the way to the right and set the clock for my ran at a modest 400.

Computer ran fine on Death Stranding so I figured the settings were ok for monitoring stability. A few years ago I bought an EVGA PowerLink that I never installed, but I saw it in my closet. So, I installed it and then my computer started getting bluescreens on Death Stranding.

Do you all think it could be the PowerLink? Should I remove it? I have two separate power cables from my power source.

Forgot to mention, I have a EVGA 2080Ti XC Ultra.

Thank you.

If you remove the PowerLink and it works okay, then I'd say the PowerLink is the problem.

Power link is likely the issue

Thanks for the replies.  I have a feeling that it is the Powerlink too even though when I look at it, it looks like it is only a re-direct of the cables so they are out of the way and look better. However, perhaps the routing of the power instead of the cables being directly plugged into the connectors on my 2080 ti might be resulting in unstable power to the card.

Just be sure the PowerLink connector screws under the rubber covers are tightened down on the top AND bottom using the included Allen Wrench..You should loosen them so that the connectors will move/slide, then plug the PowerLink into your card, then evenly tighten all the screws, then connect the PCIe power connectors from your PSU to it.
