EVGA Spider Mini ITX
A Custom Build by Me for Me.....G.C.

Hello again!!!! It's me messing around with a new design. This time I wanted a really small form factor rig that I could loan to my friends and family when I (always) end up fixing theirs. Now that I look at it, it's not leaving my site (scared it will get scratched or damaged)

There's not much in the case as I wanted it to be as clean as possible with the cables and be extremely low budget. I think I achieved that....the low budget part.....

Specs:
  • Case = 6" wide x 12" tall x 14" deep,
  • Acrylic  = 3/8", 3/16", and 1/8"  colors of black, white, and smoked
  • Mobo = ASUS P8H61-I (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Mini ITX
  • Memory = CORSAIR XMS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
  • Processor = Intel Celeron G530 Sandy Bridge 2.4GHz LGA 1155 Dual Core
  • PSU = Xion Old School ATX PSU 650W
  • GPU = nothing yet, anyone want to donate, EVGA perhaps??? Will fit a GPU up to 13" length
  • Fans = 140mm Cooler Master up front and a TT 120mm up top
  • CPU Cooling = waiting for my Corsair H40 to come back from RMA (running stock intel for now)
  • HD = for now an old WD 150GB Raptor, yes I said Raptor  (low budget as I said) can hole two HD's
The case was fun to build and a little tedious with imbedding the spider into the black acrylic. The front 140mm fan is atached magnetically using adhesive magnetic sheet. With this case I finally figured out how to flush mount the fan grills by using two pieces of acrylic. I have no idea why I didn't think of it a long time ago??? Learn something new every day!!! I need to go back and figure out how I must have changed the I/O shield cut out...it ended up being a bit too small!!!

Anyways, here's the final pic's of the case and a link to all the pic's of the build in progress....enjoy and thank you for looking!!!
