Hello All,
What is the best way to capture temperature, clock speeds, mem speed of my GPU while running benchmarks?
I want to put together some charts for a before and after when I install my Optimus waterblock on my EVGA 3090.
I'd like to get the data and drop it into a spreadsheet so I can chart the data and get a good comparison.
I was hoping for the RAW values over time, I know several benchmarks provide pictures or interactive graphs, but It doesn't allow me to directly compare.
Thank you,
Jsunn

The easiest would be gpu-z. It can log everything into a .text-file.

But gpu-z bugs out once in a while and shows VRAM Temps of 6550°c and a Fan3 RPM of 65000.

Pretty sure, HWinfo64 can log to a file, but I have never tried that

In HWinfo64 you can choose to save the report as a text file or several other formats.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I use HWInfo and GPU-Z side by side while dialing it in, then when I think I got something worth shooting for... I close everything, cross my fingers, and pace back and forth like I'm trapped in a tiny box...

Yesterday gpu-z notified me about an update. So the newest version now can read a "Hotspot Temp" as well as "Memory Temp" (wich shows a different temp than any of the icx readouts, so I have no clue, how to interpret this number).

Also from my short testing it seems like, they fixed the 6550°c bug.

    Good times

From what I understand, there isn't one sensor here, one sensor there, there are LOTS of sensors all over the card, and it gives you an average of those sensors. Hotspot is ... don't quote me on this ... supposed to tell you if one is peaking or something I dunno, I'll download it tomorrow I'm sure!

I really don't know, where the Hotspot Temp is coming from, but if it takes the highest sensor reading for any given time, they still need to work on this update xd.

After the short test yesterday, the Hotspot Temp was lower than all icx sensors😅
