The fan on the cover of the NVIDIA NF200 Chipset is not spinning on my classified SR-2
 
Is there a jumper on the board that I have to attach power to for this fan?
 
If the fan is broken, is it safe to just take the cover off?

    The fan header for that fan is shown in your picture. Removing the cover to replace the fan should be fine, but be prepared to replace any thermal paste/thermal pads.

    Thanks Sajin.  I guess it's the one called 'Jsys1 fan' right?  
     
    If fan replacement doesn't fix the issue, do you think it'd lower the temperature of the chipset to just remove the cover completely and leave it off?

    Sajin would you know where the best place to find a replacement fan is?

    I'd ask evga first. If evga can't get you a fan I would look around online for a fan that is the same size.
