This Case started out as a Fractal Design Define XL R2, plain solid black case without a window. It seemed like the perfect blank canvas to attempt my first mod. The inside of this case was lined with (glued on) sound proofing that made it very quiet, but also very heavy. This was painstakingly removed. I wanted a huge window in this case, so I used a rotary tool to cut out the window, barely leaving enough metal of the outside frame. A window was made out of tinted acrylic, so that when the PC is off it would be almost 100% black, but when the PC is on you are able to see the components with the white internal lighting. I also added a white acrylic frame around the window to make it look bigger and frame the components. Inside, the drive cages were removed to make room for vertical mounting of the SSDs. I had custom made vinyl logos of Windows, Steam, and Origin to add to the corresponding drives. I had a circuitry design pattern custom made out of vinyl to add to the Window, the Front, and the Back panel. I also added this design to a custom 5.25" Drive Cover, the rear of the fans, and 2 Steam Controllers so they would match the overall look of the mod. Completed Work

Yeah, great looking build. I like all the little touches you added, it's a cool theme. Nicely done! +1 Add a few pic's to your Mods rig, and also a 3Dmark score to qualify for the drawing.
