I am looking for an idiot proof video editor. All I want it for is to clip & cut gaming videos. I use Windows movie maker but it doesn't produce HD videos with decent quality. Case in point: https://youtu.be/fzmNwEQCRqk

I'm not an expert in video videos, but I'm pretty sure it works the same. If you're not looking for very detailed editing, you can try what I do. Convert the video to an MP4 file. Usually, I do it with loader.to; it saves the quality better. Save the result to files. Open it, click on edit and go ahead, do what you want to do. If u want something more specific, I'm afraid I can't be handy. Try searching it on google. Either way, I wish you good luck!

Here is an article that may help:  https://www.cyberlink.com/blog/the-top-video-editors/89/best-free-video-editor-windows.

I use Adobe products and some have a free 30 day trial.  The plans are not that bad and for photography which includes Adobe Premiere Rush and I'm paying about $120 per annum.

There are several free programs to convert files that do not differ from the paid programs. For example, this program convertr.org has a high rate of conversion. This is because it uses all the cores of the processor in the process. And it should also be noted that it also supports the technology that allows reducing the time required to convert video files from one format to another by up to three times. The main thing is that it has a straightforward and intuitive interface. You do not need to understand the iron. You can choose in the settings under what device you want to optimize the files and connect files.

I begin by using OpenShot. This method is simple yet effective, particularly for beginners. I believe that the most inexperienced video creators do not require the sophistication of more advanced video editors.

Hi! I hope you're doing great. You can do a few things to improve the quality of your videos without spending a lot of money. First, make sure you are recording in HD. This will make a big difference in the quality of your final product. Second, try to use a good editing program like Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas. These programs will allow you to get the most out of your footage and produce a high-quality final product. Finally, you can find free video editing software on movavi.com. I hope this helps you! Cheers!
