While the EVGA boot picture on my Stinger Z170  is cool I'd like to be able to personalize it. Is there an easy way to change it?

Not without bios modding tools...no there isn't really an "easy" way but it is possible. However I would definitely not recommend editing the BIOS bin file yourself unless you know what you're doing otherwise it's very easy to brick your board if you make a mistake.

I have change removed the EVGA during boot.  Also, I have a picture that come up before I sign in / after the blue windows start up screen.  The sign in picture is the same as I have for background.  If I have time I will PM or post this for you.
The info for doing this can be found on the web with enough searching.

To stop The EVGA boot picture you need to have Quiet Boot OFF and Fast Boot ON.   Then you get the Hex Codes during Boot showing.  I do not mind these, even sometimes tell where the boot process is trying to start some devices.  I have older IDE DVD/CD read/write devises which cause some hesitation.

I believe he was looking to actually modify the EVGA Z170 image displayed during BOOT, not hide it completely.

Fast boot is not needed to disable the logo. It is also a security vulnerability.

Fast boot is not needed to disable the logo. It is also a security vulnerability.

That's fast startup, a Windows 10 setting that saves state information to the Windows kernel for faster load times when coming out of a cold boot. It has many more issues aside from just potential security flaws: https://www.google.com/am...s-10-fast-startup/amp/

It is completely unrelated to fast BOOT which is a UEFI/BIOS setting that generally skips BIOS operations such as USB initialization to increase boot speed. As far as I'm aware, UEFI's fast boot has no security flaws.

It is Microsoft's poor naming decision to cause this confusion between fast STARTUP and fast BOOT.
