What cases and CPU cooling are you guys using for the z790 boards? Any caveats? Thanks in advance.

My only headsup is if you plan to use an active backplate waterblock for your GPU, you will need to install the GPU on the lower PCIe slot on the Dark KP board as it will not fit in the top PCIe slot.

Everything is in the mail so I cant tell you how it works yet but I am going with this.

Case: Lian Li O-11 XL
Cooler: Arctic Freezer 2 360 - Plan on putting it on the case divider plate mounting point.
Board: Z790 Kingpin

My only concern is if the tubes will be long enough for a proper routing job. IE tubes on the bottom instead of the top. I ordered a bunch of T30 fans too. I dont expect the extra 5mm thickness to matter, but i also did zero research into it before hitting buy :P

Just built my PC last month, like few weeks ago.
Z690 Kingpin (same dimensions)

Case, Hyte Y60
Wanted to have nice see through case to display the interior, see the parts.

The CPU cooler went overboard on could have gotten much less expensive one, got the ROG Ryuin II, it's got a large LCD screen plays animations on it, also can give performance read outs.
It is a 360 AIO so liquid radiator, and has a fan also just above the block that attaches to the CPU.

Graphics card is MSI 4090 suprim x. Also a radiator card.

Whole thing stays decently cool, 25-55 C.

Not overclocking right now just updated the bios and set the ram speed. Using win10 not 11.

Playing games in 4k at max at about 144fps but in a lot of my games the fps could go higher but capped by monitor.

Got some extra parts to put in there later when it's a rainy day,
Cablemod 12volt cable for GPU,
A CPU plate and some fans to replace case fans cause want to have them match.

Just built my system this week, please see my signature.

Had to route the cables through the bottom of the case (removable section towards front) because the X790 Classifed board is big and covers the cable route openings of the case backplate.
