getting ready to light up my case, need to know, what is the best lights? I looked on frozen cpu and all of them seem great, was thinking of a purple cold cathode, but I can't find one that isn't sound activated. just need something I can easily turn on and off...

pictures of your rig with it's lights are very welcome, I want it to look very sleek and professionally done.

I used Maxxima LEDs. They are generally used for truck lighting. I got some displays from where I used to work, like a lighting display you might see in an auto parts storethat shows off the different styles available.

The ones I used are found on this page. http://www.maxxima.com/pr...7/Courtesy+Lights.html they are small and work great in PCs. You just need a bit of know-how to wire 12v lights into your system.

    Good luck with your project!

I used 32 red LEDs, a Molex to 2pin fan adapter, and a board from RS to make my own that ran off 12v rail. You could easily add a toggle switch and mod a 5.25" bay cover. It is mounted to a cork board with magnets on the back.

I also have a board with 16 white LEDs rigged the same way.
