Cards have quantity limits? :( This is a bummer as a legit owner/user.

When the 3060 launched I entered the queue and a few weeks later my slot came up, and I bought the card which I have running today.  I have a 2nd system and I re-entered the queue again for the same 3060 card because it fits my needs, and after months of waiting my slot finally came up to get a second card for my other system but unfortunately when I went to checkout there's a message now saying I've reached my limit of 1 and I can't buy the second one :(

I wish I had known that was going to be a thing, I wouldn't have been waiting for months to get a second card through the queue and would have looked at other e-tailers/retailers.  This is a pretty big let down as a loyal customer who has over 40+ registered products with eVGA that I can't buy a second card for my second system even after waiting in the queue for months.  Isn't that the whole point of the queue, to distribute the products in a fair manner and avoid bots/scalpers?

So, word to the wise for those in the queue trying to get a 2nd card of the same type... the system won't allow it once your place comes up.

On the other hand, https://forums.evga.com/Limit-1-per-household-m3450062.aspx .

    Can't please everyone.

Buy a second card from somewhere else.  I am sure there are many who are still waiting for their first.

It literally says "LIMIT 1 PER HOUSEHOLD."

And how would EVGA know you're not trying to scalp the next card?

Even if you are a legitimate consumer, there are plenty of other legit consumers who don't even have one yet. That's the point of the limit.

I don't have a 30 series still on a 10, so ya Limit one makes sense to me.

Id call evga up and ask if you can swap it for the other 3060 they have listed.

You two could be in queue for different 3060 models.  EVGA has more than once 3060 model.

    Ryzen R9 5950X, EVGA RTX 3090 Kingpin SLI/NVLink, 64 GB DDR4 4000 MHz B-Die, 1TB PCIE 4.0 NVMe SSD, 4TB PICE 3.0 NVMe SSD, 2TB 2.5" SSD, 12TB 7200 RPM HDD, 1500 Watt BeQuiet PSU, Lian-Li O11 Dynamic XL case.

Or, being EU, you can count the minutes since release on fingers on one hand and still have fingers left over! Woo!

I lucked out with switching back to -KR but otherwise the queues are a joke. You could've bought retail and mined enough in the time to balance it out..

I mean yeah, it sucks. For most it's impossible to get anything at the moment. I've been in queue for over a year for 10 months. You could always try entering a queue or raffle elsewhere for your second GPU.
