Can't turn off backlight logo on SC15

I noticed that the PrecisionX Mobile removed the ability to turn off the LED backlight logo on the SC15 on version 1.0.8.  Apparently it does not have that feature in the first place?  That's a little disappointing since it is possible on the SC17.  Being able to turn it off to maximize battery life would be nice.

    Thanks for reaching out. You can turn off the backlight logo by shutting the system down. Power on the system and press F2 a few times to get into the BIOS once you see the EVGA logo on the screen, at which point you will go to the Boot tab and you will see "LED Backlight Logo" simply toggle that switch to off. Please let me know if this resolves your issue, if it doesn't make sure you are on the latest BIOS update.

    No it's not there.  I updated to the latest BIOS version 1.06 and don't see any revision notes regarding the LED backlight logo.

    That is strange and you should be able to. Unfortunately due to this being the weekend we do not have our PM team to give some clarification on this. I did send an email over to upper management to see if this feature will be implemented cause as you stated, I just checked on the SC17 but unfortunately we do not have the SC15 on our test bench.

    Thanks for looking into this!  Not really a major issue, just nit picking.  Having both the SC15 and SC17 has been great so far.  I wonder if we can offer feedback to help with the next iteration.

    The "LED Backlight Logo" option is indeed not visible under "Boot" in BIOS. That's because it is hidden by default.
     
    That being said, even when revealed, setting the option to "Off" still doesn't turn off the logo LED. Likewise, the percentage choices don't seem to do anything.
     
    Please help us get this fixed in the next update.

    Although this is not a big problem, I still hope that the functionality can be made available to us. And according to EVGATech_DanielM, it should.
     
    Can anyone from EVGA please update us on this issue?

    Unfortunately, Daniel is not correct regarding the SC15.  The logo light for the SC15 is produced by the backlighting on the display panel.  Because there is no independent LED, there can be no BIOS or Precision option to disable it.
