I find it pretty scummy, that buying new 980ti,1080ti and a 850g2 power supply does not get me elite membership. Spent a lot of money on evga products to get snubbed

Have a look at the terms here: https://www.evga.com/member/elite/ I'm honestly unsure what the 'qualifiying products' are...might require newer GPUs than those...Dunno....

i did some basic math, its not enough livestream events till may 15th(around estimated 3080ti release date? iirc) to get 5000 points if you start now.. so yea posts may be the best way right now.
wish old accounts should just get you elite member status... bots cant fake that !

I think it's pretty cool what EVGA is doing with the elite status thing. I mean, there's not a whole lot they could do to really help out the big fans/core members etc.. and still be fair.
Whelp. on my way to 100 posts.. This is crazy for us lurker folks but we can do eeeeet.

1080ti should qualify, but the last letter on sku is b because I bought it from best buy, so evga is giving me a big fu.
I have bought nothing but evga cards sense the 600 series. And top tier evga cards sense the 900 series. Disqualifying repeat top tier customers for buying a card from best buy has left a real sour taste in my mouth.
