But with the current ridiculous state of GPU pricing and availability, can you blame people? I just heard that Eth mining tripled in profitability, it looks like we'll be stuck with this **** for years.

 Really it's not been that bad. I think that the 24 hours early access to the queue seems to be getting a lot of interest from gamers but the majority are not spamming to get to 100. The real thing I fear that could get annoying is after NVIDIA shows off an updated card. At that point that people have days to get 100 posts before a queue it could get really bad.

Yeah that's a good point. In my case, I was a lurker on the forums mainly, more active when I purchased my X58 classified way back when.. But honestly out of principle I wont abuse the game threads on here, I try to make an effort and I think I've participated in discussions that I was genuinly interested in. Even if you start now there's enough time. Maybe EVGA could put up some sort of account age restriction whenever the new cards launch? That would solve it instantly.

Your best hope is 100 posts for elite membership, which is what I am trying to achieve. Best of luck!

Whichever comes first. 

Its a decent marketing strategy to get a little bit extra visibility and longer user retention. And it doesn't cost EVGA hardly anything.

As long as people put some modicum of effort into their posts, personally I don't mind at all. But lately I see stuff like triple/quadruple posting in the game threads which is pretty tasteless.

Idk if you are trying to hit 100 there really isn't much to post on in the forums. I think it is probably easier than the twitch streams as you are only limited by a 2 anti-spam timer. Twitch streams are like every other day and drop off in points after the first stream you tune into.

Just make 100 posts, I don't know why you would spend a bunch of money on those GPU's though O_o

EVGA provides several methods to gain Elite membership. If being an existing customer with a recent applicable purchase history doesn't suit you, use one of the other options, such as watching their streams or posting on the forums, ideally with posts that contribute to the conversation rather than repeated complaints that you're being 'discriminated against'. EVGA doesn't owe you or anyone else a damn thing, yet they are providing an opportunity that is more than any other NVidia reseller in the world offers. Try saying thank you.
 

I'm not shy. I'm just here to get in the queue system. I have some genuine questions (such as what are the dimensions for the 3080ti), but mostly I'm participating in those crappy word game threads. Really hope they can meet demand, and launch on an EU time schedule. Don't want to be up all night for sunrise in LA.

Well I likely would have several years worth of posts if I registered my 1060s I got from Best Buy. But I never registered anything (MSI, EVGA, ASUS, etc). Oh well. Now I do. Fingers crossed I can get in the queue in time.

Getting to 100 posts or 5000 points isn't that difficult.

I do, however, suggest that you engage with the community in your posts rather than those 3, 4, 5 word spam posts.

Just keep going to 100.

100 posts isn't too bad. From what I can tell regular comments count too.

They have an entire list of items you can buy to become an elite member.

Any posts should count. I'm close to 100 and I will come back and let you know since I have been replaying to comments for my post count.
