Can you turn off the RGB Bar on te FTW3 editions?

On the FTW3 editions there's that super rainbow RGB on it and it looks very very stupid to me because it's so thicc.

Can I turn this off and just have the text light up? (not got one yet, still in the step up queue but just looking at youtube vids.

    You can turn off the light bar. The text will be off too.

    Gotta say I wish there was an option for just the text to be lit. I really like that with my 2080 Super FTW3 Ultra.

    Use black electronic tape to cover everything but the wording.

    You can have it off, rainbow, or a specific solid color that you like. Or color change based on temperature, or even a different color for each .exe (like each game has its own color.) Although for the last part you need 3rd party software, unless EVGA recently implemented it.

    But when you close X1,the led will become "static on"
