Arctic P12 PMW.  They have great static pressure, extremely low noise, and don't have the Noctua price.  Arctic makes great products and they have extremely low prices.  The fans also have an extremely long warranty.

I bought two 5 packs of arctic PWM PST 120mm fans last year.  4 of the 10 fans have died already.  Yes a 40% failure rate after 1 year.  It costs more in shipping to get the fan replaced than what the fan is worth.

Arctic fans are all I use.  I have systems with F14, F12, F80's that are still running strong, 4-5 years out.  It's possible you may have gotten a bad batch.  Even now I have P14's as my intakes on my server and my desktop.

I have now installed 2 bionix p120's on the 3080 hybrid, and 2 bionix f140's on the clc 280. Both seem to work well. I used f140's instead of p140's, because I found them for cheap on Craigslist, and they seem to do the job just fine, although they are still a bit loud at full blast, albeit much more pleasant sounding than the EVGA fans.

The two 5 packs were purchased several months apart.  Two bad batches?  That would be unusual.  Maybe their quality changed in the past 4-5 years since you purchased them.

I installed two of the BeQuiet! fans this evening on my 3090 Hybrid. Running them off the motherboard at about 60%, and GPU temps are 60C under load, while the sound levels are easily half of what the EVGA stock fans were. Excellent upgrade!

My vote would be to use stock fans and wait for Noctua to release black NF-A12x25. Hopefully it's a lot sooner than June...

I got some Noctua NF-A12x25 and they're working great! I have an issue and is unsure if it's the fan being defective or the hybrid kit? When playing games the fan speed RPM would jump randomly, even when I set it to a set percentage in PX1. Temp are even way better than stock fans but fan RPM would jump from 1100 to 2000+ for a second and goes back down to 800 back up to 1100 and periodically  jump back up to a high rpm.

I was running into this same issue with the stock fans attached to the splitter that connects to the card. I ended up plugging the radiator fans directly to my mobo and set a static curve. Solution worked, no more fan RPM jumps when the card is under load.
The really funny part is that you can still see the fan RPM spike when card is under load even though there aren't any fans connected to it.

I'm also running push/pull with NF-A12x25s. One set is hooked up to mobo, the other set is hooked up to corsair commander pro that came with my H150i.

Noctua's are expensive but they're one of the few brands that don't crap out in a year or two it seems. I've had insanely bad luck with Corsair fans over the years, I'll never buy any anytime soon again no matter how well they perform.

I got some Arctic fans recently in a 5 pack, great performance, noise and price it would probably be ok if they only lasted 2 years but I'm hoping they're as solid as Noctua are.

After so many recomendations I got confused with the choice. I'm down to this:

1) Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-3000 PWM. (25€). The 2000rpm cost the same.
2) Silent wings 3. 120mm high speed.(20€)
3) Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM.(29€)

I'll attach them to the motherboard and leave them around 60-70% aprox.

I don't care for the price. Just performance and noise to leave them go for years.

Which one you recommend?

bequiet! SilentWings 3. German engineering. Been using them for years now without issue, particularly good as radiator fans (use the PWM high speed models). Tried a lot of other fans before I settled on these. The only other fans I have now are Corsair LL120 case fans because they came with the Corsair 680X RGB case and have teh bling, lol.

I do push pull with Noctua A12x25mm on my 3090. Fan curve. I think in Cyberpunk it spun up to maybe 1100rpm? But it's not audible over game sound. The stock fans were insanely loud.

Thank you.

I'm going for noctua because of the high static air pressure.

The Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 PWM has more air static pressure that the A12x25 and also cheaper.

Is it a lot of diference between them?

You'll want the AF12x25mm if you want silence. The NF while cheaper are definitely louder and have a different sound.

Will the AF12x25mm be enough for cooling the card properly?

The Arctic P12 seems very similar in air pressure and it's 3 times cheaper than the Noctua.

Noctua definitely makes good fans, but I personally like the Corsair ML series.  They're great for pure airflow as well as static pressure, and they don't leave gaps between the rad and the fans that air can escape from.

I'm between the Corsair ML PRO (don't know the diference with the non-pro) and the Noctua NF-A12X25.

The Corsair has more airflow but also noise. My case is the Fractal Meshify 2 XL. Noise can get out easily.

Is the Corsair very loud?

Subjective and unscientific testing.  All my systems have been closed cases with filters.  I use static pressure fans for everything since I use positive pressure case setups.

QUIET WITH MINIMAL WIND NOISE - GOOD PERFORMANCE
Arctic P12 PWM PST CO 1800rpm 2.2mm
Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax   1500rpm 2.61mm
Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM  1700rpm 2.83mm

SLIGHTER LOUDER WIND NOISE AT 100% - BETTER PERFORMANCE (Works well with arctic freezer II 360 top mounted pull intake in Phantek P500A)
Noctua NF-F12 PPC-2000 PWM  2000rpm 3.94mm

LOUD WIND NOISE AND FAN HUM at 100% - BEST PERFORMANCE
Corsair ML120 & Pro  2400rpm 4.2mm
EK Varder F120ER PWM 2200rpm 2.75mm

KP using ML120s as pull and Artic P12 as push with primary PWM sensor from a P12 for all 6 fans.  Temporary setup but effective with 25c house AC or 14c using forced custom duct portable AC.  Normal gaming uses a custom fan curve in PX1 with ext fan hub with PWM control going to KP.

ML120 at 100% is like a wind tunnel.  Only thing worse is Panasonic Panaflo HI or industrial fans.  Noctua PPC-3000 should performance well, but expect to be louder than ML120s.

I like these simple, cheap fan hubs:
SilverStone CPF04 INTRODUCTION (silverstonetek.com)

I have these on order to test:
Nidec Servo GentleTyphoon 120mm Case Fans (2150 RPM 4pin PWM)
Fan&Blower09 (nidec-servo.com)

The whole goal of a radiator should be that you don't have to run something at 100%. My fans run max 65% and my GPU temperatures max out at 52C with Cyberpunk 2077. Here this is 370W sustained load looping Timespy.

From my test, Boost 4.0 maxes out like at 55C and under. You don't get anymore performance once you're under 55C.

Running the fans at 80-100% is not that beneficial performance wise and will also introduce a lot of dust into your system that's unecessary.

I recommend running them at 60-70% and that's it.

+1

I agree with the whole point of these premium rad fans are to perform the best at the lowest audibles.  Sure we could say grab a 30 FPI rad with 3K RPM screamers to dissipate the most but that used to be a thing of the past for most as I'm sure there are still a few that don't mind the audibles but enjoy the best performance with the least amount of rad.

At the moment the ones I see at the top excluding aesthetics for best performing in the low audible range are as already stated with the NF-A12x25s and I would also include the Gentle Typhoons who've been at the forefront for over a decade now.  I believe the old GT model was called the AP-15s but have since been changed and are still around and in even PWN factor.

As for the NF-A12s we've been waiting for a all black version to be released, well they keep moving the dates lol and that was pre-rona.  Last I heard early 2021 so we shall see.

I added some Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM to my radiator and my gpu maxxes out about 52 C in gaming while OC'd. Also it's super quiet and super stable. Never hear it having to spin up. I have my fan profile on Auto using the OC BIOS. What I need is a new CPU AIO because my EVGA 280 is a screamer when it gets going, sounds like a jet engine.

If I get the Nocs for my hybrid radiator will I need a special connector to run them to my motherboard?

If so, what do I need?

Gigabyte Aorus Master x570 * AMD 5900X * 32GB G.SKILL Trident 3600 * Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420 * GeForce 4090 FE  * Corsair RM1000x PSU * 1TB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe * 2x 2TB Samsung 870 QVO SSDs * LG OLED48CXPUB * Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL

Depends on if you want them to go to the same fan header on your mobo or not and if you have available mobo fan headers. If you don't have more than one available, you'll want to get a splitter cable. If you don't have any available you'll need to add a splitter cable to an existing set of fans.

I'm doing the same thing. Connect the fans of my hybrid gpu cooler to my motherboard.

How the motherboard will know the temps that the gpu has so I can make a curve profile with the fans?

Arctic P12 PMW.  They have great static pressure, extremely low noise, and don't have the Noctua price.  Arctic makes great products and they have extremely low prices.  The fans also have an extremely long warranty.

+1 big fan of the arctic fans because they're quiet and cheap. Also none have failed on me over the past 3+ years of using them. Between my server, my desktop and my brothers computer; we have probably 20 arctic fans running.

Damn, I just bought 15 of these for $100 from Artic through amazon after being impressed with their performance on the Freezer 360..  (6 on 360, 6 on kingpin, and 3 for air intake into case) hoping I have better luck
