Hi
i have GTX 1080 FTW which i put EK waterblock on it. Couple weeks ago my computer was leaking and its coming from cpu block, upon investigation i found the pipe was warped at the end of tube ( PETG ).
The water was dripping to PCIe lane and the GPU and suddenly picture on monitor was pixelated and ... boom no picture at all after that. After couple days i clean my computer and the GPU and let it dry for couple days.
Then in couple days i put it back together but surprise no picture at all. My keyboard and my mouse light was on(RGB), Is it my GPU dead? or my  PCIe lane went bad ?i did try boot it without GPU (direct from MOBO ) and it work
If the GPU is the problem, can it be fixed? if can, can you guys give me link or website any electronic repair that can fixed GPU?
Right now to buy new GPU is like impossible , i really appreciate any info from you guys .Thank you

You didn’t try the card in another pci-e slot yet?

maybe you can fix it at a microcenter if you live near one. or you could ship it in to them. they are a very trust worthy store and I have been shopping with them for my PC essentials for what seems like forever.

I'll bet in forever, you never sent them a device in for repair... because they don't do that.

Sad to see you probably lost your GPU

"water - mineral trace damage" - "Might" be removed with alcohol.

Disassemble to clean & inspect for obviously fried components

Burnt, shorted, popped surface mount electronics = Wall Art & a hard lesson learned ......

Leak testing for a long period of time - without power to anything else - is always a good idea.

Water connections are not forgiving ... if in doubt redo it

However it is amazing what some will pay for a "parts only" GPU on eBay

I have no recommendations or where repairs might be attempted

You can check this website to see if they start accepting more Graphic Cards. Sorry was unaware they were backlogged
    https://northridgefix.com
As of 7/15/21 we are no longer accepting Graphics Cards mail-ins.  We currently have an overwhelming number of graphics cards in the repair Queue.  We will update this message once we start accepting graphics cards again. All cards mailed after the above mentioned date will be either recycled or mailed back unfixed at owners expense.
