Hello,
I may swap the 1200 P2 to a 1600 G2 (long story) and while I understand and have no issue swapping the ATX, CPU and VGA cables to the new ones, I would LOVE to be able to use the current Sata and Molex cord from the 1200 P2 as it will be a LOT of work to remove these and install the ones.
So does anyone know if I can reuse the P2 Molex and Sata cables with the 1600 G2?

Thanks!

I was looking at that but it seems that all 1600 units have different part numbers from the 1200 units. Or am I misinterpreting the tool?

SATA Cable is the same..Perif/Molex Cable is the same..All the cables are the same/interchangeable..You can always Contact EVGA to verify.

If you have a multimeter you can jump start the PSU and check the SATA and Perif/Molex power and ground/com before you even connect them.

Thanks for your help. Mainly I wanted to change as my 1200 fan has an annoying whine and the person who sold it to me has a 1600 G2 to trade BUT I am not sure if the G2 is a downgrade aside from having more power.
