So I got a faulty EVGA G3 750W psu and now have to RMA it. As of now I have a EVGA 500B Bronze Power Supply but not sure if I should use it on my build. Not planning to overclock until the new PSU is here.

Possible Temporary build?

Maybe temporarily..You can use the OuterVision PSU Calculator and see what the estimated wattage need is for your PC.

MSI recommends a minimum of a 600 watt unit for a PC with that video card, but a 500 watt might work in a pinch.

Try it..Worst that will happen is crashing/BSOD/freezing/whatever..Won't hurt anything.

That is below MSI's recommendation but you just might get away with it. No one here can make any guarantees, though. I definitely recommend to refrain from overclocking any component. Good luck!
