Does anyone know a way to undervolt a 1080 ti sc2 through either precision x or another tool? I'm trying to get lowest power use at stock clocks.

MSI Afterburner has this feature, but I would lose RGB control, icx temp readings, and I heard some people only having one fan spin because of the asynchronous fans.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can't undervolt with precision. You can only undervolt with afterburner.

Alright, thanks for the response. Do you know if it's possible to use Afterburner without having the fan shut off?

It's normal for the fans to shutoff at certain temps. The fans should automatically kick back on when the card heats up. You'll only be able to control the gpu fan with afterburner.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I heard some people were only able to get one fan on the ICX cards to spin at all when using Afterburner since they don't have control for multiple fans like precision x

You'll only be able to control the gpu fan with afterburner. The other fan won't spin until the card gets hot enough as it will operate off the cards default fan curve. Both fans should spin with/without afterburner.

Any idea why this is not a possibility with Precision XOC?
Maybe should be a feature in the future.

Guess they thought it wasn't needed.

Just configure a manual voltage curve in XOC. I run 1949/1961 MHz stable at .975V with 6.1.6. Newer versions might crash your PC.

I've tried that, but I couldn't get the voltage to stick to the voltage I wanted to run.

I just make sure all voltage values past .975V are set at lower than 1961 MHz instead of being constantly at 1961, like Afterburner would do (which will still set the highest voltage at .975V just the graphs look different).

    Edit: explained it wrong
