Can I step up a stepped up card?

I.E I have a 1080 SC2 now, I step it up to the 1080ti SC2. 

Is the new 1080ti again eligible for step up (say 11 series launches at some point within 90 days) as it would be a new card with full warranty?

    Unfortunately cards from the Step-Up program cannot be stepped-up. I apolgozie for any inconvenience.

    Ah ok, guess I'll just cross my fingers that the 11 series launches within the next  71 days lol.

    You would not be able to step up the step up graphics card. Linked is the 1080ti available for the step up program.
