I have the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 110-B1-0750-VR 80+ BRONZE 750W. I want to install a bottom fan in my small-ish case, and the SATA cables are blocking the area where I want to install the fan. One option would be to move the SATA power cables from the "SATA" outlets to the "PERIF" outlets on the PSU. From what I can tell, the pin configuration and voltages are the same. Is there any reason why I should not plug my SATA devices into the PERIF outlets of the PSU? Someone on reddit said they fried their PSU doing this, but I am not sure how that could happen. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
