Ok, so I have a gtx 1080 that I bought a little under 2 years ago that I have taken great care of, by the means of keeping the temperature under 70 degrees and cleaning it weekly. I was shocked when I started my pc and the only lights that weren’t starting was my graphics card. My display wasn’t working due to the fact my hdmi was plugged into my card. When I plug the hdmi into my motherboard everything else works fine, so I knew it was a issue with my card. First I hoped and prayed that it was a power supply issue and that the pcie wasn’t sending power but I checked and it was. I’m confused on what happened as I left for work I shut off my pc before I left and there were no issues before, I’m wondering what is going on and if it can be fixed. Oh and my warranty ran out

If you have another PC try placing your graphics card into that PC and test it. Or ask a local PC shop to test it.

Yes I plan on using the dreaded geek squad at bestbuy and see if they can test it.

Also buying an extended warranty for your EVGA product is a worthwhile investment

You access the Device Manager using the Windows Control Panel.

Minimizing power cycles is honestly more important than keeping it at or under 70c and cleaning "weekly" is overkill.
