I play so much Modern Warfare lol I have Cold War but i'm just not ready for the level grinding on the guns so I still mainly play Modern Warfare.

Cold War campaign is fine , good time. - BUT the MP is so much less refined an experience than MW is ...
Cold War MP just looks, feels off. very disappointed. Zombies is a decent ,fun distraction for awhile but...

This game is actually a really bad game. It has potential on the surface, but once you play for a while you start to notice just how bad it really is. MW 2019 was a much better game all around. Cold War is a slap in the face to customers who bought it.

Here is the problem with Cold War. Just like Modern Warfare got a Warzone map, Cold War will get one as well. Once that happens, I assume it will be a version with Call of Duty Cold War perk structure instead, having all attachments on your gun is pretty nice. This is where my real dilemma is. That's going to be the next version of Warzone, if I wanted to get ahead of it, I should just start playing Cold War all of the time, I just don't wanna! haha

I'd call it mediocre, it's not the worst version of COD I've ever seen. They've done some things to make it feel more like Modern Warfare. It is nice that the levels are universal though, so you can kinda jump into the game with all of the guns and perks unlocked without actually playing it. I'm really attached to Modern Warfare because I am a sucker for those tracer packs and I've acquired a lot of them. Kids used to get so upset when they died to someone with colored bullet tracers and because it would trigger them so bad, it would lose them the game and I'd get to see awesome bullet tracers when I shoot.

MW 2019 felt like they took a huge step in the right direction, Cold War feels like they took two steps back from where MW 2019 went. They should have been improving upon the direction of MW 2019, not going backwards. No game is perfect, but MW 2019 was a step in the right direction, they should be building upon that.

They added a new map, which literally feels like a port over from a previous black ops game and I hate it lol I just can't stand Cold War right now, the feel of it is just... off and the maps are not as fun. I immediately quit playing when I realized they've rigged the XP system. I was at level 29 on my AK47, jumped into a game and got 30 kills... not even 1 level. That's crazy to me.

RainStryke, Thanks for the input. A lot of gamers with this Black Ops cold war feel slighted, not much new just rehashed material and charged $60 - $100. And the battle pass is just a bunch of trash emblems, stickers and such. I hear this a lot from players in the lobbies. But i still enjoy the game playing with my family and friends.

I actually don't mind the battle pass, you get quite a bit of content... Operator skins and blueprints are the main thing. I'm just kind of annoyed they didn't continue a battle pass for Modern Warfare and make a separate one for Cold War. Warzone is pretty broken right now, even the Cold War guns are not the same in Warzone, some attachments are useless while others fit the perks of 2-3 attachments when compared to a Modern Warfare gun. I have the Cold War AK47 Ultra blueprint and it doesn't even have the same ammo capacity between Cold War and Warzone, the gun also feels way different between the game modes. I am just glad they no longer seem to be massively overpowered compared to the Modern Warfare guns. I just dread the next round of paid content though, they are running it just like Blizzard. New content is always way overpowered and people complain about it but the fix never arrives until the next paid content comes in to wreck everything, which is like every 3 months.

There's a serious cheating problem in online games from both EA and Activision. I understand where the companies are coming from though, it is a losing battle. Why focus time and money on something you will never win? I still play these games a couple minutes here and there though, but not near as much as I used to. I'd rather play games that are actually fun, because that's what playing games is all about, and these games just aren't fun when they are plagued by cheating.

the new Zombie Outbreak mode is actually fun - since it's not player competitive / it is CO-OPerative.
Much, much better zombie experience than previous versions.
