Unavailable, must be why I couldn't find them.
I had only seen the shorter version from that same company...thanks!

If anyone is curious. 3 x 1080 Ti at full load and 85% fan speed. Just about 800W.

I bought two off (here) eBay on sale for $45 each. I ended up meeting up with the guy here in CO since he was only an hour and a half away. We had an interesting talk about altcoins. It's a pretty good product for the price!

Ok some more dumb questions haha.  On the FLDC page it says next distribution x days.  Does that mean I won't get any FLDC until that time?  I have already gotten some curecoin, so just wondering :)  The calculator on the fldc page says my points should get me 1000 fldc per day.  Just wondering why none have shown up in my counter wallet yet.  I THINK I have everything set correctly.  I hope haha.

Thank you for taking the time to assist.

Yes, FLDC is distributed monthly on the first Saturday of the month. You should get your first distribution on May 6th.

Thank you very kindly for that information.  Now as long as I can get my wallets under wraps, I might make some money.  Not a lot, but maybe enough to buy some candy haha.

OK, after nearly a week i have come to a conclusion and that is the performance loss going from pcie 3.0 x8 down to pcie 2.0 x8 is negligible at about 8%. this conclusion comes after completing over 550 work units over a two week period. results can be viewed here.

now i just wish i could have this amount of data to compare pcie 3.0 x16 to pcie 2.0 x16 or even pcie 3.0 x16 down to x8 would be nice.

wow that's nice, if you want i can include the project ID and send you that info too? that way we may be able to see some relation to work units.

EDIT: ya know, i was talking to a coding friend of mine about how i spent hours collecting all that info from the log files and he come back to me in 18 minutes with this script...

cat input1.txt input2.txt | grep -P "\(100%\)|Received Unit|Final credit" | sed -e "s/\(^[0-9]*:[0-9]*:[0-9]*\):\(WU[0-9]*\):\(FS[0-9]*\).*steps (100%)/\1\t\2\t\3\tsteps (100%)/g" | sed -e "s/\(^[0-9]*:[0-9]*:[0-9]*\):\(WU[0-9]*\):\(FS[0-9]*\).*Final credit estimate, \([0-9]*\)\.[0-9]* points/\1\t\2\t\3\t\4/g" | sed -e "s/\(^[0-9]*:[0-9]*:[0-9]*\):\(WU[0-9]*\):\(FS[0-9]*\).*\(project:[0-9]*\).*/\1\t\2\t\3\t\4/g" > output.txt

this is a linux script that can be run to parce out all the useful info from the log files, project ID/time stamps/estimated points. load that into excel or google sheets and with some calculations get all the PPD like i posted.

4th 1080 Ti installed. The Watkins build is now complete.

I'm surprised they're all staying relatively cool @ 74F ambient.

Thank you! I'm actually back up to the point where I can cash out for another build. This next one (1-2 weeks) will be smaller but will still have 2 1080 Ti.

I wish I had your power prices :P haha.  So expensive here.  Peak is $0.18 kwh (6 hours every week day), mid peak is $0.132 (6 hours every weekday) and $0.087 off peak (12 hours every day and every weekend and holidays).

Still with the current rise in prices in the coins makes me wonder if I should buy a 1070 or another 1080.  It would get me just over 1 mppd when my 1080FTW comes back from RMA.

power costs for me are $0.20 on peak (6h per weekday) and $0.08 off peak (18h per weekday) plus the $30 monthly connection fee. with only the cost of power compared to income i am currently seeing nearly 15x returns, at current prices. so a 1080ti hybrid at a cost of $810 will pay for itself and the power used to run it in only 70 days. every day after that is profit ;)

What's the actual power draw of a 1080ti vs 2 1080's.  As a 1080ti gets the same, roughly ppd as 2 1080's.  So I am wondering if it's worth the expense.  Yes i know probably extremely stupid question.  Just look at best bang for my buck, and 1080ti's are expensive in Canuckistan.

Re: [CURE][FLDC] Cashout for a new build! 2017/05/15 18:48:19 (permalink)
no, a 1080 gets about 760,000 ppd while a 1080ti gets about 1,150,000. a 1080ti is nearly double that of a 1070 which is about 650,000.

as for power draw the only thing i can say for certain is that a 650W PSU is not enough for two 1080ti's but is enough for a 1080ti and a 1070 FTW. though if you just look at the GPU's rated TDP (Top Deck Power) then a 1070 is 150W, a 1080 is 180W, and the 1080ti is 250W. so when comparing performance to power draw the 1080ti is best followed closely by the 1070.
