Wife and I both have CLC's in our PC's and they both do the same thing. Randomly, at some point, when waking the PC up from sleep we get alert on desktop. Obviously we reboot so there is control to the CLC pump but not sure why this keeps happening, and on two separate PC's with EVGA motherboards.

When you go to device manager under USB connections, do you see CCV1 listed after this issue pops up?

Are both motherboards on the latest BIOS?

Yes, both our motherboards are on latest bios release. I have Z370 and she has Z170.
It took few days for this to pop back up; in between that time I've had some shutdowns and restarts. It's very random this occurs.

Make sure the fan header the CLC is connected to is set to "Max" in the motherboard BIOS and not auto or SMART.

    They’re both set to max.
