Hi,

I have a CLC 360, and the pump started to make a sound which is very similar to an old mechanical hard drive.  It's very very loud, and the cooling graph seems to rapidly oscillate about 10c with the coming and going of this noise.  Is this a sign of a bad pump?

It could be the pump or cavitation caused by a bubble or air in the system.  For air in the system, you might try tilting your case around various position while the pump is running to try and move the air, if that is the problem, out of the pump area and up to the rad.

If it is the pump, you'll have to RMA the CLC.

I agree that it's likely air and trying to move the air would be the best option. Of course the liquid in AIO coolers will eventually evaporate but that takes 5-10 years normally and the CLC-360 hasn't been out that long if I recall correctly. It could just be one that has a issue.
