Hi all, I just upgraded to a 5950 and my temps are extremely high while not really doing much on the computer and if I game it will hit the 90 and auto turn off. I have the AM4 Bracket and that's correct but I'm seeing that there are different screws you need now? Where would I get these cause I've torn apart my entire room and all my computer boxes and don't see anything extra specifically for AMD other than that bracket?

Definitely a mounting issue because of the screws...I'd contact the manufacturer and explain the situation....indicate that you didn't receive the screws in the package (or can't find them) ..they may just send you some...

I have a 5950X too with a 360 Nzxt AIO with TG Kryonaut and it hits 90C too at stock. It's just a crazy hot chip when all cores are going and you'll have to tune your fans, all clock turbo, etc. I do have a fairly poor case for airflow but I value low noise over most other stuff.

Also make sure that the fans are set to ramp up when CPU temps increase, not the liquid. Also make sure you are you are using the latest Flow Control 2.0.10.1, which specifically addresses reading the CPU temp properly. https://cdn.evga.com/util...rol_Setup_2.0.10.1.zip

Low noise is great but not to the detriment of your cpu. Youre cookin that thing! You gotta fix that issue or you will be buying new parts REAL soon.

I have the 360 and the am4 bracket holds the block to the cpu very well so I also think that you have a mounting issue.

I'm running the EVGA CL360 but have replaced the stock fans with Antec Prism argb fans and am using arctic MX-5 thermal paste. I also manually adjusted the fan curve to a more aggressive profile and it seemingly keeps my 5950x (set to 4.5ghz all cores via Gigabyte easy tune) at 122°F idle but will ramp up to around 160°F running Time Spy. Gaming is usually around 140°F where most of the load is born by my RX 6900 XT black.

That sounds like airflow issues or possibly weak thermal compound or a combination of both.

Not sure where you're going with that. I'm not an AIO guy but I am a water-cooling guy, and in the water-cooling community in general it's accepted that controlling fan curves based on water temperature is by far the superior option compared to CPU temps. This makes perfect sense as the fans are for cooling the water, not the CPU. When controlled by the CPU temp the fan speeds can ramp up and down rapidly in reply to rapidly changing CPU loads, but still not bear much relation to the water temperature at all. The fans might spin up hard for a sudden rise in CPU temp with a new load even though the water is cool, and the fans might ramp down hard once that CPU load ends even though the water's still hot and actually needs the fans going to cool it down. Unless there's some magic property of AIOs that flips all of this on its head, your advice makes no sense at all to me.
