I just installed the CLC 280 CPU Cooler on an ASRock Z97/4790K system.  I think I like the hardware although I'm not sure about the software.  Had I not seen a positive YouTube review on the Cooler I would not have know any software existed since the documentation included in the box did not mention downloading the software.  However, I downloaded and installed the latest version and have a few questions/concerns.  It wants to load up each time I start Windows 10 1709 but I can't seem to figure out how to make changes and make them stick!  I know I'm probably missing the obvious but...Is there a tutorial or something to help a new user get conformable with the software?   Or...do I end up connecting the fans to the M/B so that I can control what's going on until the software has matured?

Click on the "pump / fan"  When it says Pump...set the speed you want your pump to work at.  Once done...put back on fan.  Now in the lower right hand corner...click on the gear (settings).  Under general...I chose to Start minimized and start with OS.  This will assure that Flow Control software starts all the time.  Then click on LED Color.  You can choose an ambient color, if you choose, or choose Temp color (that is what I use)...so that as the CPU heats up to different temps...the color of the pump display will change.  Then choose OK.  This will send the setting to the Pump's firmware.  I then chose Default as the theme for the interface.  Now you have it set up the way you want.  Now...in the upper left hand corner...Make sure HW Monitoring, LED On and LED Temp are all lit up.  This will let you monitor everything that you just set up.  Then there is one more thing to check.  Go to the Curve button...make sure it is on auto.  Click the button.  There are two fan curves.  One for CPU temp and one for Coolant.  Choose the fan curve for the CPU temp, since it will vary the most.  Set it up the way you think it will work best.  I set 30% fan for 30C; 50% for 50C and the like.  So far, so good.  Hope this is helpful...

Thanks for the help.  Once again I missed the obvious!  Everything seems to work as advertised.  Still think it would be helpful if EVGA developed a simple tutorial showing how to use the various settings.  Maybe somebody from EVGA is watching?!

Ken...glad it worked!  Software isn't that bad.  Once set up...pretty maintenance free

Click on the Curve button.  Adjust your curve to the CPU temp as you want it.  Make sure that the auto light is on...

One other thing to keep in mind is settings are saved to the firmware so it doesn't take the software running for the last saved settings to be used. I don't have the software open that much but like that I can set colors to warn me about what is happening with the CPU.

Problem is that the fans go 100% on 60ºC and can't be changed, there's no need to be at 100% at this temp and they are very noisy, here in summer is kind of hot, normal to get like 63-64ºC on CPU. I have the curve adjusted to coolant temp, to keep fan speed at 60-70%, but i prefer speed x cpu temp.

Yeah I got same that cannot change from 60c to 70c or 80c and 90c!! This fix at 60c at 100% speed yeah it sad to hear really loud noise but what to do if you can change enable FAN CURVE for coolant pump instead FAN CURVE for CPU in Curve setting. Set manual CPU Fan at 1300ish and let Coolant automatic fan curve!! You will hear nothing noise and it won't get overheat your CPU!!

I still hoping and waiting for update software to change CPU Fan from 60c to upward so I hope next driver coming soon!!!

Has anyone left their computer go to sleep for several hours and then woke it up?  The EVGA CLC280 fans startup at 100% and the EVGA light is RED.  I have to turn the system off and restart then all is well again.  The cooler temperature is ~22C so it ain't that hot - got to be some kind of bug in the software/firmware that is causing the problem?

The software still seems to have issues.  I have had the USB device remove itself, leaving me unable to use the software until I reboot the machine.  Hopefully we get some better stability in the next release.
