At certain times in the game where the audio is quieter than usual, like in the menu or in a secluded part of a map, I can hear a constant buzzing noise that will not go away even when the sound is muted. So far MW is the only game I have had this happen with. I have tried un-overclocking my GPU and different sampling rates but can't seem to make it go away.

What you are hearing is almost certainly electrical interference coming through. It typically originates from the video card, but could be coming from your power supply or motherboard too. Typically moving the sound card as far as possible from the video card helps. Also, depending on which NU Audio card you have, if you have the original model with front audio panel header, disconnecting the front audio header wires from the NU Audio card may help.

    Hi RMui,

I have also noticed Buzzing through my headphones (Oppo PM 3's) whilst plugged directly into the NU Rear headphone jack, happens whenever I move my mouse, for me it's not Audible whilst music is playing but it's there.
I suspected the cheap M/board wiring for the front case header which I had connected when installing the card and sure enough having now unplugged that the noise has gone. Have you tried Disconnecting the Front panel header? appreciate you may wish to use it but worth a go to see whether or not that's causing the problem for you, as it was for me !
